Description
This specialist course looks at both single and multi-agency chronologies in detail; their purpose, construction and their use in working with children, young people and families. It is assumed that participants will already have a basic understanding of Jersey’s Children First principles and processes from core training.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course participants will:
- understand when to consider a chronology;
- understand what information needs to be included in a chronology;
- be aware of what information is appropriate to share across agencies; and
- be able to consider the impact of the patterns/information in a chronology in conjunction with a child’s assessment to improve a child’s circumstances.
